Feb 9, 2012: firetrucks

The firetrucks parked across the street with all their lights on for the last 15 minutes are giving me a very unsettled feeling!

Kevin walked over as Cameron, Darcy and I watched excitedly from a window. He was back in a few minutes saying that there is gas leak in the restaurant (seen in the background) which is closed until spring. The firemen are waiting for the owners to come and open up so they can check everything.

We used this as an opportunity to talk about what to do when there's a fire or other emergency.
