Happy Valentine's Day 2012

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Today Kevin got cast off. I saw his first X-ray and today's X-ray, and boy he sure didn't miss. His metacarpal was broken on a diagonal! He is very pleased to have the cast off and will be back at work next week (Feb 20th).
I won a 5$ Tim Horton's card via a Facebook contest! (See I told you FB was good for something!)

Darcy and I went to Book Club at supper time.  I made brownies with pieces of mint Aero inside and decorated with heart made of Smarties of top. YUMMY!!!

Kevin's 1st cast

Kevin was very lucky today! The specialist did not think his hand needs to be re-broken as he has a good range of motion in his fingers. So Kevin only had to get a cast put on - his first one ever!  Above he is showing Darcy his cast - it's the 1st one she's ever seen.  Kevin is off work until his hand is healed - I suspect he'll be suffering from Cabin Fever soon!
