New year's eve 2011

This year Kevin and I didn't plan anything for new year's eve other than a yummy meal of rainbow trout with the kids.

Wouldn't you know it, we ended up having an impromptu party, which was more fun than if we had planned it.

Peter and Marina came for an overdue visit. Darcy has been asking when Marina would come to play.
Richard also came over and so did our neighbor Dave. We tried our new breadmaker for the 1st time with disappointing results.

We all went outside to play and ended up having a snow ball fight.

 Marina lent Kevin her mittens.

 Me being silly.

Darcy climbed a tree for the 1st time!

December savings: $61.16 - using Superbucks, coupons and buying items with the quick sale stickers on them.

September 30, 2011: Tupperware party

I didn't use my coupons this month, but here's how I made out with Maxi savings:

Superbucks:                         I saved $8.25
30% and 50% off stickers:  I saved $41.72
NOT BAD!!!! :-)

I had a Tupperware party tonight. Not too sure why I agreed to it, but it seemed like something fun and I'd get some free stuff...well...just like my jewellery party this time last year, turn out was poor.

My mom and Johanne came - thank you!!!

Thank you Sofia, Johanne & Arthur for the fantastic birthday presents!

Darcy wearing all her new dress-up jewellery.

Charla got me 5 external orders and earned herself 2 small prizes :-) - Thank you!!!

We used some of my new Tupperware products to make a whole chicken in the microwave in about 30 minutes - it was very good! We also made onion flavoured potatoes in the microwave in less than 10 minutes. My new favorite kitchen gadget was used to make yummy salsa in no time, the Quick chef pro!

I managed to get 83$ of credits, plus 2 gifts and 2 items at 50% off. Not so bad after all.

I'm going to give selling Tupperware a whirl to complement subbing, photography, lawn mowing and whatever other part-time jobs I can get.  Right now I can't get my password to work, but once I do I'lll post the link to my Tupperware site, should you be interested in buying anything. :-)
