Kevin went water skiing. I drove the boat. My hand was not fully healed and there was quite a bit of boat traffic...poor Kevin!

August 18, 2012 - Party

Saturday

Kevin and I went to town to some chores and get some new wood planks for my mom’s deck.   

While I went and mowed a client’s lawn, Kevin installed the new wood. 

Cameron was at a party across the lake with his mom and her family, so Kevin and I went out for a boat ride and went by to say hi, but Cameron never saw us! Later on Cam’s grandpa and uncle came over from the party and we took them out for a boat ride. When we brought them back to the party they invited us to stay for a bit. Darcy ran off to find Cam and gave him a big hug and kiss!

The hydrangeas are blossoming and buzzing with life. There are bees, butterflies and hummingbirds all over them. 

When Darcy and I swam to the raft today she said, “Look” and pointed at the loon floating along not too far away from us.

I spent the day scraping and scrubbing mom’s deck. Then she took me out to see Hope Springs, which was VERY funny!
