Ecomuseum Sleepover - Amazing experience!

I was lucky enough to accompany Darcy and some her Girl Guide unit to the Ecomuseum for a private nighttime tour and a sleepover.

Before heading outside and while waiting for it to get dark we had a wonderful presentation.

Preparing for our nighttime tour. There are not pictures as it was DARK. The only light was from the the flashlight at the front of the line and the flashlight at the back of the line. We saw many nocturnal animals including raccoons, skunks, foxes, porcupines, owls and much more.

Even the bathroom have animals!

What an amazing way to spend the first hours of Mother’s Day: waking up with some terrific Girl Guides and Guiders at the Ecomuseum and a private tour! The highlight was watching the otters wake up!

We got to wake up the otters and watch them stretch and be goofy! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Deer, oh deer!

Darcy and I went to see the deer today. We brought them some apples and carrots.

Angie touching deer.

My dear feeding a deer.

This little guy is so cute!

Beautiful.

Grooming. Maybe a Mommy deer and her young?

The Protector!

Darcy tried to feed the deer snow.

N.B.:  (PLEASE, if you have anything negative to say, keep it to yourself. By negative I mean references to hunting deer, eating deer, diseases carried by deer, etc. This is something our family enjoys doing every winter and I don't want it ruined like it was last year. Thank you.)
