Aug 4, 2013: What a great day!

The weather was weird again today. I went swimming with Darcy and Sofia.

 

All the kids went fishing. Cameron, Taylor, Logan and Andrew all went out in the row boat (and the canoe and the kayak...) to go fishing.

The little kids preferred a ride a the "big" boat.

I also took Darcy and Sofia fishing in the row boat (when I could get a turn to use it!) they were adorable.

 

After lunch we took the kids to the beach, They built sand castles and played in the water. The big boys anchored the row boat where we could see them, but they were far enough away to feel we weren't hovering. They were fishing and doing whatever boys do.

 

 

 

 

Again the day ended with a beautiful rainbow! (sorry no pics!)

 

Johanne not only brought delicious homemade sausages for lunch, but she brought these amazing cupcakes, too!
