Just as we were getting the kids standing up for the show, in fact as I was taking the above picture, we realized one of our preschool students was ill and required medical attention. Luckily we were in a residence with nurses on staff and help was available immediately. While we ushered the rest of the students (including 3 kindergarten classes) out of the room for the show, nurses, a teacher and the child's mother looked after the sick child. I'm happy to report that later that day I received a message that the child is doing just fine! Nonetheless it was very scary for a few moments, and it sure puts things in perspective. Love your children, young and old without limits and be especially mindful and gentle with your wee ones.
