We went to Charla and Paul's for New Year's Eve.
We had heard a silly song on Facebook that day and we all sang it all night, much to the dismay of the children.
We repeatedly heard Amelia mimic a youtube blogger named Nicole, "Hey guys it's Nicole," in a very nasally voice.
We had a lovely fondue supper. The "weird meat" (this year it was camel and ostrich) had to stay in its own pot at one end of the table, away from the "normal meat" most of us wanted to eat. I was brave enough to try the camel and I must say it pretty much tasted like beef, but the idea kind of grossed me out.

We had a great time, laughed our fool heads off and we all managed to stay awake to ring in the new year. Charla opened the front the door to let the old year out and the new one in, too.
