May 2017

Dear Darcy,

Open house at Geronimo, a circus camp. you were pretty brave!!

Climbing the spider web at school. This scared me more than Geronimo!

This was our view walking home from Girl Guides.
May 9th.

You are learning to drive!

May 18.

Relaxing with you and Thursday.

A Northern Flicker on our roof.

May 20.
Thursday ripped my bedspread. I'd already had it a long time and washed it many, many times, so it was beyond repair. I made this t-shirt rag quilt to replace it.

back

Autie Charla, Daddy and Brian.

May 21.
Unpacking the cottage.
We can't start the water yet, though, as we must replace our septic tank.

You LOVE your bed at the cottage and you can't wait until we can spend the night there.
That's my girl!!

Your birds Emerald and Sea Salt.
Look at their reaction when the music starts.

CATERPILLARS!!!
All those black specks in the photo are caterpillars coming down out of my trees.

There were hundreds of thousands of them. I am not kidding. The white siding turned black with them as they migrated towards the backyard. They are a native species and have a lifecycle that causes a massive outbreak of them every 3 years. They completely ate 3 of my 5 rose bushes, but they came back!

Cute hair!

That's All!
