Visitors from out west & Gavin's 2nd birthday (July 13 - 39 weeks)

The second week of July my cousin Danny, his wife, and their 2 children came to visit from BC. We had not seen Dan, Stephanie and Ireland for 5 years and we had never met Gavin before! Ireland is a gorgeous red-head and a sweet little girl who really likes to help out. Gavin is adorable, blond and on the go! While they were here, Gavin turned 2 years old on July 13 (another special date for Kevin and I...) and MeMe threw him a birthday party and a surprise party for Danny, too, since his birthday was soon to follow.

July 13, in fact the night Gavin was born, is a special night for Kevin and me, as it is the night fate intervened. After having re-met on July 10 and not really thinking we'd actually call each other, we ran into each other at the fair, at the Johnny Cash tribute show. I walked into the beer tent with my mom and Uncle Bum, stopped to look around, and as I turned to my left there was Kevin leaning against a post. And the rest is history!!!!! <3
