Bittersweet
Happy to not have the expense of daycare, but sad that she is old enough to start school!!!
I made 2 dozen cupcakes for her to bring to her last day to share with her daycare family. Helen made her a wonderful poster of photos of her at daycare. Her friends all signed a card for her. 5 years with Helen and her daughters, almost 5 years with many of the children, namely Loona and Lily. As promised, on her last day she did not have to stay for naptime - her one complaint about daycare.
We will keep in touch with Helen; I'm sure it's hard on her, too. So many children pass through her door and she watches them grow and develop and then has to let them go when they start school.
Thank you, Helen for taking good care of my baby!
