Meet the author and the author is Darcy! May 20, 2016

All the grade one, three and five students made their very own books this year. They learned about covers, end papers, binding, writing and illustrating a book and they did it all! A team came in and demonstrated. Once their books were written and illustrated, they came back with their equipment and each child got to put together their book.

Darcy's book is about her year in grade one.

Parents were invited to meet the author and see the books. I heard a lot about this book over the course of the year, I was anxious to see it!
