Dear Darcy,
Having recovered from gastro,we went to Candiac to visit Melissa, Maya, Johanne & Sofia. Melissa made a wonderful announcement - she is expecting a sibling for Maya!! Maya says she has a baby in her tummy, too!
The little girls played together and had their lunch. We watched Sofia's latest talent - crawling -we enjoyed a lovely lunch provided my Meli.
You brought a little toy that expands in water for Maya and she just couldn't wait to try it, so she decided to have a bath right away and try it out. You and Sofia observed and played with Maya's toys while we watched for the little doggie to grow in the bath. Turns out it can take a few days!

Afterwards we tried to get you girls to take naps, but you were on your own schedules...LOL. We managed to catch up nonetheless and have planned another playdate soon. (My turn to host this time :-D). We packed up to head home late afternoon and made a bad decision to try the 13 north...after sitting without moving for about 25 minutes we decided to abandon this idea at the next exit and find another way home. Three hours after leaving Candiac we were finally home, but we had it easy in the long run...we left behind some of our gastro microbes and our friends and their husbands put in a rough weekend! Sorry about that, I was sure we were in the clear!!!
