Darcy and Daddy have really bonded having their alone time in the morning and I really enjoy picking her up and having some time to play before supper.

The weekend that we were at the Great Escape, there was an earthquake at home. Whether it is to blame or not, we do not know, but since then my mom has had little or no running water. Everything inside the house that could be tested, fixed or replaced was, but outside the ground and the lake were frozen until now.
Kevin and I headed out in the row boat to install a new footvalve, hoping that would solve the problem, but no! Now to did up the pipes and see if there is a leak...and luckily Kevin found it within a couple of feet of digging. My mom finally has water again!

Mother's Day weekend the semi-annual Craft & Art Sale and English Tea was held in the Lakefield Church Hall. Kevin and Paul had the joy of entertaining the kids all day, as I was selling photography and cards and Charla was helping her mom with the tea.
.
As in the past, the Sale & Tea was a success. By the way the next one will be November 6th.

Sunday was mother's Day, my second one already! Happy mother's day to all the moms out there!

Darcy used to be afraid of the Swiffer Vacuum, but now she loves it! In fact I find it hard to actually use it myself, as she always wants to help.
