We skipped Darcy's last swimming class due to the meeting and funeral, but fortunately, we were able to attend Cameron's last class and it was FREE SWIM!
Darcy can swim on her own with swim aids and last week in the pool at her daycare, she swam the fastest of all 6 kids!Today she was swimming with just her belt and jumping in off the side of the pool. She is a "Sea Turtle"!
Cameron - who was terrified of the water last summer - was jumping in off the diving board and swimming under water!!! What wonderful progress - he's officially completed the Red Cross junior 1 level.
Seeing Cam jump off the board, Darcy wanted to try it, too. I treaded water under the board and Kevin handed her down to me..."Again," she said. This time Kevin dropped her down to me...."Again." Kevin dropped her from a little higher..."No more," I said, "My legs are tired!"
We are very proud of our water babies!!!! Way to go!
