Dear Darcy,
On Saturday Feb 14th we celebrated your 1st Valentine's Day. Daddy had to work all morning, so you supervised my chores. You seemed to enjoy my chatter as I toiled :-)
Later, we went for supper at Nanna's. Bev, Shannon and Mike, Myrna and Lee, Wendy and Grand Uncle Wayne were also there. My mom made a lovely meal of ham, scalloped potatoes, mac & cheese and a green salad. We had angelfood cake with berries and ice cream for dessert!! On top of being our chef, she was also our waitress!
You were very social and seemed to fall in love with Mike!
In fact, you would not go to sleep when it was your bedtime, even though you had on your new "My heart belongs 2 Daddy" PJ's. You just didn't want to miss a thing!
Once your boyfriend left, and it was just Mommy, Daddy and Nanna you were content to sleep!
