July 5, 2019: Nice day, but turned into thunderstorms.

July 6, 2019: Overcast and rain ahead. Daddy working at the fair. You and I went to the library and did some shopping. We bought a new boat cover and 2 life jackets. It ended up very hot! Your friend April and her dad came by by boat and we all went for ride. Later we went for a ride in our boat with Nanna and ended up at the boat house. We got home at midnight!

July 7, 2019: Brian joined for supper at the tiki bar. We saw a hug dock spider today.

July 8, 2019: Cam working at the fair. Brian and I tried to save a dragonfly. 

July 9, 2019: Darcy & I played Monopoly under the umbrella by the lake.

July 10, 2019: Mommy & Daddy's 12th anniversary! I mowed the lawn  - what a way to celebrate, LOL. I also put up the pirate flag that Scott gave Daddy. We saw 2 mergansers. It was TOO HOT to cook so we ate sandwiches for supper at the tiki bar. We heard the loon again, after supper.

July 15, 2019: We had a nice quiet morning watching Golden Girls. We went swimming in the afternoon and took a walk looking for monarch eggs. (We found 13!) We also saw a little red squirrel family and a blue jay family!

July 17, 2019:

We went swimming and saw lots of fish fry at the end of the wharf. You decided to name a fish Fred. There was also "grumpy fish" because he had a downward mouth and he kept coming to eat baby fish.

I don't know what these are, but the look cool. Some kind of mushroom I think.

July 18, 2019:

Hot day. You and Nanna washed her car today.

July 20-21, 2019: lots of visitors today! What fun! Our neighbour took some of our guests out for a tube ride - they had never even been in a boat before!! We had a small thunderstorm around 5:30. After supper we all gathered around the fire in the backyard.

July 22, 2019: A cooler, beautiful day! We slept in until 11:00!! More Golden Girls, more monarch eggs (17) and of course, more swimming. We heard the loon after supper.

July 23, 2019: Happy 17th birthday Amelia! SUP with Lisa & Brent. Darcy decided to swim back from about 3 houses away. Had a nice talk with one of the neighbors. Thursday got a boat ride with Mark & Kevin.

July 24, 2019: Cool, hoodie weather this morning. We acclimatized to the 30 degree weather quickly, now 22 feels cool. We took Thursday for 2 walks and went for a swim after supper.

July 26, 2019: Lisa & Myrna came down for a visit today. Darcy left to go camping with April & her family for the weekend. 

Cameron, Kevin and I went for 2 nice boat rides.

July 27,2019: By 8:00 Daddy and I were on our way to town for some errands. At 10:30 we were back and ready for a boat ride.

July 28, 2019: We were all up fairly early (except Cam). Brian went fishing. Daddy & I had coffee in the porch. We heard the chickadees this morning. (They haven't been around much this summer.) There were also some grackles, blue jays, woodpeckers, purple finches, goldfinches and chipmunks.  You came home from your camping trip and you had an amazing time!

Thursday actually went swimming by choice today! Graeme came over to visit Cameron. we all went for a boat ride. After supper we went for a swim and the boys tried to stand on the paddle board, together. 

Poor Thursday got a chuck of wood off her stick stuck in between her teeth. It took a while and some distraction with doggie ice cream, but it finally came out.

July 29, 2019: The boys got up late. We all went swimming. When the boys went out on the paddle board Thursday jumped in off the wharf to go out to them. Aunti Myrna, Gillian and Copper came down for a visit. Nanna went in the lake!! 

When I took Cam & Graeme to town, you went to the beach with Auntie Myrna, Gillian and Cooper. 

While I was at home I saw some monarchs in our milkweed garden! Gillian came for a sleepover

July 31, 2019: Shannon, Mike & Leo came to Nanna's to visit us. Daddy took Mike & Leo (7) for a boat ride and Leo LOVED it. We all went out for another ride after supper. We saw a merganser and 2 babies.
