Dear Darcy,
At first you hated having a bath.You cried the whole time until you were all snug in a towel. I tried making the room warmer, the water warmer, more water, less water, toys...everything, but nothing worked for about a month. One day you just didn't cry.

You are starting to like your bath, I think, as you kick your feet in the water a lot. I wouldn't say you smile a lot while you're in the water, but you do before and after. Your favorite time is still to be all wrapped up in a towel!
Mel, Kim & Gabriel came for the afternoon. Gabriel has his mom's beautiful blue eyes, but looks a lot like his dad, Rene. He'll be 1 year the end of February, but he can almost walk already! You were in a bit of a bad mood that day, very stuck on me, so you didn't get to visit Melanie & Kim, much. Next time they come to visit you should be more sociable.
You already have lots of neat toys, handed down from Amelia & Colby (thank you!), so Gabriel really had fun playing with some of them while you watched.
(best to turn down the volume if you don't want to hear my silly babbling and your crying :-)...)
