Darcy's first Christmas.

Dear Darcy,

Christmas Eve Daddy, you and and I headed to Lake Barron to Nanna's for her traditional Xmas Eve buffet supper (yummy!!!). Uncle Bum, Uncle Wayne and cousin David were also there. Cameron was with his mom and her family.

We spent the night...a first with you...and it went surprisingly well. You wore your "baby's 1st Xmas" PJ's and we awoke to goody-filled stockings from Santa...2 for you, even!!

 After enjoying a hot chocolate and opening our stockings, Daddy you and and I went to pick up Cameron and head to Daddy's parents', while Nanna prepared the turkey.

At Grandmaman and Grandpapa's house we enjoyed a lovely brunch, including homemade crepes! We also found out that Santa had brought you yet another stocking! There was of course one for Cam, too...and another waiting for him at Nanna's, too!

 After overeating and being spoiled with thoughtful gifts, we had to head back to Lake Barron to see what Santa brought and for a turkey supper I haven't missed in...well forever!

We ended up staying overnight again Christmas night, as Cameron wanted to do "dodo" at Nanna's. Boxing day we headed home with as many gifts as we could fit into the Jeep, but that was only about a third!! We enjoyed our new things and relaxed the rest of the day. In the evening our neighbor Dave came over for a short visit.
