Nov 20 - the hardest part is over.

Dear Darcy, 

November 19th we had a visit from "Uncle" Brian. I think it's great that you have an Uncle Brian, when my dad was Uncle Brian to so many of my friends and cousins!

Big brother Cameron seems to be taking this all in stride and loves his little sister, never leaving the house without giving you a kiss goodbye. He did try to blame your nighttime crying for him not being able to get up in the morning, but what was his excuse before? LOL!

Thank you to everyone who told me the first 4-6 weeks would be the hardest - you are right! 

Darcy is 6 weeks old today and things have greatly improved in the last week or so. 

You do not sleep through the night yet, but occasionally we get lucky with a 6 hour sleep. We have finally figured out breastfeeding. We did get thrush 3 weeks ago, but that has cleared up. The baby blues have also gone away and I am enjoying being your mom!

Today is our first big outting without Daddy, Charla is coming along to help and for moral support. :-)
