On October 29th Darcy's daycare went trick-or-treating at a local retirement home.
I volunteered to go along, but I was still walking with a cane and found it difficult to keep up. The place was much bigger than I remembered!

The facility was set up such that any door (to a room) with a Halloween decoration on it, was OK to trick-or-treat at. Most of the participants were seated right in their doorway with lovely goodies ready to hand out. Many daycares attended and the people looked so pleased to have so many visitors. Darcy came home with her bag STUFFED to overflowing and I came home with a sore knee and back. Hmmph!
