Sept 17 to 24: Kevin is gone up north; my last week at CRL

My official last day at Charles River was Sept 24th. The Friday before that Kevin left for Umiujaq, Nunavut for 2 weeks on 48 hours notice, despite clearly stating that he could not leave before Sept 24th!

This caused me many a headache for my last week after 5 good years at the lab. We finally had a routine worked out where Kevin took Darcy to daycare and I picked her up at night. Now I had no one to bring her to daycare! My mom helped out a couple days, the daycare was willing to keep her late for 2 nights and I took my last day of work, OFF!.
