Labour Day Weekend 2012: Paint, mow, pack.

Rob & Brian here for the weekend.

Sat:  

Primed all of decks on the road side of mom’s house.

Darcy went for a canoe ride with Jacob & Jeff and played at their cottage for a while while I was painting. When she got back we went for a swim to the raft. 

We saw the merganser , a loon and a frog today.

Great fire tonight and a fantastic moon.

Sun: Hot and sunny.

1^st  coat of paint on Juliette balcony and roadside decks. 

Darcy helped Kevin wash the Jeep. 

Rob & Brian went fishing in the little red boat, but came back empty handed.

We had Jeff, Jacob, Peter and Marina here this afternoon.

Mom had a birthday supper for Uncle Bum tonight, too.  Another great fire in honor of Bum’s birthday. 

 

Mon: Beautiful, hot, sunny day.

I mowed Milne’s lawn, mom’s lawn and our lawn.

Mom primed the new pieces of wood Kevin and Brian put in the deck railing yesterday.

Darcy and I swam to the raft again today. Water is getting cooler. 

Also packing to head back to Lachute for the rest of the week. 

Back to reality... Darcy starts school tomorrow!
