HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY DARCY!!!

Darcy's recent accomplishments:
- she can say, "WOW"
- loves to draw on paper or the white board

- understands some of what is said to her

- claps her hands
- plays patti-cake (with one hand only)
- starting to feed herself with a spoon
- she still needs to take her time to get to know people before letting them hold her, but that's OK. She does things her own way.

- did her first finger pairing

- can take afternoon nap at daycare (she actually sleeps better there!)

-Darcy took 1 step on her own

-She's learning the parts of the face

This is dangerous; letting her feed herself without a bib!



Darcy's 1st birthday was a normal day for her. She went to daycare in the morning while I baked cakes and cupcakes. She spent the afternoon with me. When daddy got home she got to open some of her presents and she had so much fun! The big party is tomorrow...hope we're ready on time!

Darcy had her first birthday party on October 10th. It was a dragonfly theme...what else would it be? Her brother Cameron and friends Gabriel and Sofia, plus lots of family and older friends came to her party. She was spoiled by everyone!!
