We decided to invite our parents over for supper on new year's eve. Then we thought, "Gee, we should invite Bum, too." Then we thought of a couple more people we should invite. Then we thought of a few more...and it snowballed a little! In the end the weather was not wonderful. Kevin's parent's didn't come and about 5 other people didn't make it. We did have 2 last minute additions: my cousin Lisa and her boyfriend, Brent,who were in town from Ontario. It was great to see them!
Darcy picked out this jumper to wear for the party. The tiara and wand were part of a gift she got from Cameron (via his maternal grandmother)...
Cameron and Darcy amused themselves building castles. We allowed the kids to stay up until 10:00! Over 2 hours past bedtime. They were pretty amazing, given how tired they were..
Kevin is a wonderful host! We had a very late, but very good supper. A pot roast from M&M in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes, veggies, salad, bread....YUM! Thank you to everyone who contributed!.
