March 21, 2011: Why? Why? Why?

Today was a ped day. We had a playdate with Charla, Amelia and Colby, but first homework. Cam worked very hard for about 3 hours. He did 5 pages of math, practiced 14 groups of sight words, and practiced reciting and writing his full name (some grown-ups have trouble writing his last name!), address, telephone number and 6 spelling words!!

Darcy was VERY excited to go see Colby and "Ameeneenee-a". I had to keep telling we were leaving soon, but first Cam had to finish his homework. She started asking, "why?". Oh boy...here we go!

Then we drove through a snowstorm to Charla's. When we got there Charla had lunch ready for us, but Cam was shivering.  His temperature was 101!!! Back home...

But before we left we saw a robin!  



These are Amelia's Sea Monkeys. The last time Kevin was there he picked it up and tipped it to look inside and it started to leak. That's when he realized there was a lid on top and that it was not a snowglobe. We checked and the sea monkeys were fine, but Amelia doesn't want THAT to happen again!
