We said goodbye to Teddy and Jill this afternoon, but before they left Jill showed us a video of her speech at this year’s Relay for Life in her hometown. She was honorary survivor and her speech was clever, funny and most of all moving. She is very brave in all aspects of the word. Best wishes to you, Jill!!!

It’s Pat’s last night here, so after supper and the kids were in bed, we went over to mom’s to say goodnight and show her some pictures. Next thing we know Mom is making Spanish Coffees and Kevin is wearing a towel on his head. I really don’t know how he ended up in that, but we all roared with laughter.

Kevin and I couldn’t sleep from all the coffee and ended up going to sleep around 3:00, which I thought was late and a real wild night for us…until we found out Mom and Pat went to bed at 7:00 a.m! Pat wanted to finish a book she borrowed before she left and Mom had to go through a box of books Pat brought with her. I blame the caffeine.
